Sms network disorder following reconnection
All sms networks have been reconnected after a 21-day deactivation but subscribers have difficulty sending their sms messages.
Mobile Company of Iran subscribers have been able to send sms from July 1 but the messages are received with delay. Other operators’ subscribers are facing similar problems.
After sms network disconnection, CPs (content providers) and mobile phone operators are faced with billion rials of losses.
Currently, CPs are not connected to operators and cannot send mass sms.
Iran’s 21-day sms network disconnection has been the longest in the world.
Iran has over 45 million mobile phone subscribers and mobile phone penetration rate in the country is 65 percent.
