Tehran traffic map will be available via mms service

Multimedia Messaging Service, MMS for short, is a cellular telephone standard for sending messages that includes multimedia objects (images, audio, video, rich text). Mms is an extension of the sms standard, allowing longer message lengths.
“This service will be offered provided that mobile phone operators launch mms service,” Hojatollah Behrouz told Mobna news agency.
“Tehran Traffic Control Company has negotiated with second mobile phone operator (Iramcell) to offer this service,” he said.
“Previously Tehran traffic information was sent to subscribers via sms technology, but since service application was limited it was stopped,” he added. 
“Currently Tehran traffic map is available on the companys website and it is planned to show it on streets that have big screen televisions,” Behrouz said.
