Hamraah-e Avval prepaid SIM card network capacity doubled

so far been unable to offer prepaid SIM cards, intends to double its prepaid SIM card network capacity.
According to Vahid Sadoughi, Mobile Telecommunications’ chief, by increasing the capacity of IN network they will have 20m subscribers in 3 months.
Currently, the network capacity is 8m SIM card which is due to be increased to 10m by the end of this month.
The delay in the delivery of prepaid SIM cards has caused widespread disapproval among 2,558,000 awaiting applicants.
Informed sources believe this is due to shortage of domestic produced unprocessed SIM cards.
It has been said that Hamraah-e Avval’s proposed tender to purchase unprocessed SIM cards has been cancelled twice when participants did not reach the desired quorum.
Hamraah-e Avval subscribers number 24.5m, of whom 8.163m have prepaid SIM cards.
Prepaid SIM cards are also offered by other operators who supply them without having to fill-in application forms and wait long.
