Shiraz University to cooperate in APA project

“Shiraz University has signed a contract with the ICT research center in malware secure disorders field. The university will start its operation after installing equipments and equipping its laboratory by the end of this Iranian year (March 2010),” Mahdi Khodayee told Mobna news agency.
”After Shiraz University operation starts, ICT research center will start negotiation with other universities for cooperation in APA project,” he said.
The APA project was started last year at 7 industrial universities. At present time the first phase has been finished at these universities.
In the project, events and vulnerabilities in the 7 fields of operating system, database, network equipments, spams, codes, application software and wireless networks are studied and researched.
