Vehicles inside traffic control zone to be monitored by cameras

“Some 300 intelligent cameras have been installed at entrances which will record the number plate of offending vehicles and a fine ticket will be sent to owner’s address within 48 hours,” Hojjatollah Behrouz told Mobna news agency.
“In addition, there will be vehicles inside the traffic control zone which would record offending drivers,” he added.
He anticipated the measure would reduce by 35% traffic congestion inside the zone and cut offences from current 40% to 10%.
