High-speed internet providers’ problems resolved
“The problems arose mostly from their different interpretation of schedules which we are in the process of resolving,” Saaber Feizi told Irans mobile news agency (Mobna).
According to the Fourth Economic Development Plan, such companies are required to install over 1,250,000 high-speed ports in the country by the end of current Iranian year (Mar 21, 2010) but so far only a third have been installed.
PAP companies attribute the delay to provincial telecommunication companies not cooperating with them in terms of allocation of required space and also the high tariff levied on internet broadband.
