IDRO to bid for 49% stake in Third Operator

“IDRO is awaiting final reply from the Tamin Telecom Consortium,” Remadan-Ali Sadeghzadeh told Mobna news agency.
The Radio Communication and Regulations Organization in January 2008 declared Tami/Etisalat Consortium as winner of Third Operator tender, only to disqualify it four months later and has not declared a substitute ever since.
However, the managing director of the Social Security Organization has announced that Tamin Telecom has been selected as winner on the original bid of $5.4b.
