MCI’s Samen Scheme lottery explained

The MCI lottery was carried out on the basis of subscriber’s mobile phone number and each number could be awarded only one prize.
Only subscribers who had paid their phone bill in time and had no outstanding debt could take part in the lottery.
Each 100,000 rials of phone bill bore one credit mark, which meant those with high bill figure had better chance of winning.
The lottery started with better quality prizes, and as soon as a winner was selected he/she would be removed from the lottery.
Those who had paid their phone bill via ATM terminals stood a better chance of winning a prize.
The lottery was conducted at the Mobile Tower in the presence of representatives from the Judiciary, Iran Broadcasting Company (IRIB) and the press.
