Qum Province Metro-Ethernet network inaugurated

“This is part of national internet network which started on a trial basis some 22 months ago with 80 billion rials fund to cover 29 communication centers in the province,” Abdolmajid Riazi told Mobna news agency.
“The network’s center is Qum which connects four centers with 10gbs bandwidth,” he added.
The Qum network can support 200,000 high speed internet links and organizations which require even wider bandwidth can connect to the network via fiber optic cable.
