Mobile set common production not possible in Iran: Sony Ericsson marketing manager

“A high technology is required for mobile manufacturing but domestic companies cannot import such technologies because of economic sanction against Iran,” Shervin Farigam told Mobna news agency.
“In addition, mobile set smuggling has made domestic production impossible. Iran currently sells around 50% of Middle East mobiles and is a good market for mobiles,” he added.
“Sony Ericsson market share in Iran is 30% while in other countries of the region it never goes beyond 15%,” he said.
