“This system has been launched for 200 subscribers in Tehran, Tabriz, Esfehan, Mashad and Shiraz cities,” Saber Feizi said.
“The aim of launching pilot system was to recognizing probable problems in equipments, network or used path,” he added.
“Technical tasks and network tests will be finished this summer. In this pilot phase inter- provincial, intra- and inter-cities networks will be tested,” he said.
“Service tariffs will be determined and announced in accordance with RCRO,” he added.
“After finalization tests of this system, the project will be activated as pilot for 5,000 subscribers,” Feizi said.
“When the project is implemented and if content is provided by relevant sources, users will be able to use multimedia sources such as voice and image with high-quality on TV sets simultaneous with telephone,” he added.
“The project’s maintenance cost is less than its revenue. If it is implemented it can bring good revenue to this company,” he said.
