TCI shares due for underwriters
“Tose’eh Etemad Mobin Consortium compromises of Tose’eh Etemad, Gostaresh Electronic Mobin Iran and Shahriar Mahestan which is responsible for managing the project. The consortium will recognize and negotiate with other partners in order to draw more cooperation,” Mohammad-Reza Modares Khiabani said.
“TCI shares are worth 78.2 trillion rials, and, therefore, attracting domestic and foreign shareholders is essential,” he said.
“Tose’eh Etemad Mobin Consortium is TCI’s administrative shareholder. TCI privatization will be a basis for removing legal limitations on state-owned companies,” he added.
“Making structural and managerial changes in using international operators and potentials of domestic consultants would maximize the use of TCI license capacity in line with developing basic and value-added services, entry into regional countries’ telecommunication fields, specially neighboring countries through investment and cooperation, offering engineering services and management participation in other operators are among consortium goals,” he said.
“Proper use of financial, managerial and technical resources for international development and raising TCI status as topmost operator in the Middle East, Middle Asia and North Africa and ranking among top 10 world operators are among other consortium objectives,” he added.
