Third operator to start its operation as of March 2009: tender manager

“We estimate that the result of third operator tender price packages will be determined between 21 December and 19 January,”Saeed Mahdiun told Mobna news agency.
“Thus the third operator contract will be implemented in March 2009 surely,” he added.
“Third operator can start its operation when receives license and launches its network. However if third operator offers its first service more than nine months after receiving the license, then its license will be annulled,” he added.  
“It is expected that third operator will release its sim cards in second half of next Iranian year (after September 2009),” he said.
“Third operator according to the license should cover metropolitan cities in first year operation and cover provinces capitals in second year of its operation,” Mahdiun said.
