“Private companies usually invest in profit-making activities, and social justice is the least of their concerns,” Hassan Faraji-Far told Mobna news agency.
“It is necessary, therefore, that the quality of telecom services is not compromised by changes in the company structure and its market dealings,” he added.
He stressed the government should prevent TCI services from being monopolized.
“With the private operators growing, service charges and tariffs will become very important, and for that the government should devise rules and regulations so that services do not fall into the hands of few companies,” he said.
