Regulation Organization approved GPRS and mms tariffs

“GPRS and multi-media messaging services tariff were approved in Regulation commission meeting on 5 August,” RCRO head Mahmood Khosravi said.
Regulation organization is Irans telecommunication ministrys regulatory body which sets the standards of operation, issues operation license and oversees the functions of the phone operators.
Data tariff will cost 14.8 rials (less than 1 cent) per kilobyte, and sending mms will cost 1000 rials (10 cent),” he added.
GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is a communications service which uses packet technology to send data via networks.
