Iran`s telecommunication regulatory body approves tariffs on numbering allocation

RCRO is Irans telecommunication ministrys regulatory body which sets the standards of operation, issues operation license and oversees the functions of the phone operators.
A spokesman for RCRO announced that in the meeting of June 25, two items namely postal tariffs and the tariff on the right to use numbering capacities for mobile and landline phones were discussed and approved.
Numbering capacity is the fee paid for increasing number of telephone numbers.
The tariff on new postal services such as electronic identification, special postal service, shipment charge reversal (payment made on collection) and expenses incurred (plus 10 percent) due to lost goods delivered to post were reviewed and approved with immediate effect.
