Mobile Company of Iran 0910 sim cards distribution started

The 120,000 applicants for 0910 sim cards who had registered via the internet are to receive their sim cards from Saturday.
Applicants from Tehran province should obtain their sim cards from the telecom service bureau where they purchased the sim card showing their national id cards and a photocopy of the first page of their birth certificates.
The new sim cards which are sold at 1.5 million rials (160 dollars) lack roaming services. They are also prepaid ones which can be charged 200,000 rials (around 20 dollars) at initial start but can be charged later up to 500,000 rials (around 50 dollars).
The 0910 cards require a further 2 million rials (around 210 dollars) credit if the user wishes to establish international roaming link.
As with the 091 postpaid sim cards, the 0910 sim cards benefit from the same services and tariffs.
The time for applicants to receive their sim cards in other provinces will be announced by the respective provincial telecom companies.
MCI has earlier announced that these sim cards will go on walk-in sale from July 13. It has so far around 27 million subscribers.
