Private telecom bureaus failed to fulfill MTC’s expectations
Avval charge cards, have failed to fulfill MTC’s expectations.
Ali Hamidi, in conversation with MOBNA, said they could not confine such sales to a selected number of bureaus.
He said that their aim in establishing private telecom sector has been mainly to provide better services to a wider public, and not lucrative trading for such bureaus.
He stressed that the job of a telecom service bureau is not confined to mobile phone services only since they are also obliged to carry out duties with respect to other ministries and organizations.
Telecom service bureaus had previously objected to the sale of charge cards by state-owned offices because such offices, by law, are not allowed to sell private-owned items.
