Prepaid SIM card criteria, central in ‘application & subscription regulation’

criteria for deactivation prepaid SIM cards are items that have taken more efforts in the revision of Hamraah-e Avval ‘Application & subscription regulation’.
Alireza Asghar-Nejad, in conversation with MOBNA, said revision of Hamraah-e Avval ‘application and subscription regulation’ is quite   straightforward and nearing completion. He said that after ratification, the regulation is to be adhered to by MTC and its subsidiaries across the country.
He stressed that the ratification process is lengthy and has to be approved by Iran Telecom.
So far the regulation has been the same as for landline phones, although they are in essence quite different and require separate regulations.
MTC have been making amendments to the regulation for the past few months as it would help resolve some of the present problems.
He had said earlier that the new amendments would place mobile phone under a new light.
He believes, in the new regulation instances such as prepaid SIM card serviceability, new vocabularies and new services have been corrected.
