Third Operator launched by late March 2010

“Mobile phone Second Operator was launched with foreign investment and 1.3 billion dollars fund, which is a good start for other large national projects in attracting foreign investment,” Reza Taghipour said at an introductory ceremony on Sep 6 for the new Information and Communication Technology Minister.
“It is hoped that foreign investment is used in major projects such as Telecommunication Company of Iran, Post Office privatization and Third Operator,” he said.
“It is planned that Third Operator will start operation by the end of this Iranian year,” he added.
