Tamin Telecom participation in Third Operator requires legal interpretation

”At present it is impossible to predict Etisalat participation in Third Operator tender,” Lotfollah Sabouhi told Mobna news agency.
”If the tender is re-held, a new condition for operators’ attendance has to be reviewed,” he said.
”The condition has not been compiled yet and the previous one needs to be reviewed in order to prevent repeat of previous problems,” Sabouhi said.  
In January 2009 Tamin Etisalat consortium was selected as Third Operator project winner but was dismissed by Government for not fulfilling its commitments.
Zain Iran consortium, as tender runner-up was also dismissed from the project.
Third Operator had been planned to offer its sim cards this summer.
