TCI revenue increase due to prepaid sim card sale
”Company’s revenue in last Iranian year (ended March 2009) had a 13 percent net gain in comparison with previous year,” TCI chief, Mohammad Karampour, announced at TCI annual general meeting on July 22.
”This was because the public welcomed new telecommunication services, IranCell subscribers’ growth and increase in network calls,” he said.
”Income from Inter-city calls grew because of subscribers’ tendency in making calls from landline to mobile phone and vice versa,” he added.
”Other reasons were TCI’s offering services to PAP companies, launch of GPRS, development of the 3+ phase as compared with previous year and offering value-added services,” he said.
