Telecom service bureaus may engage in Presidential Election advertisements
“According to articles 68 through 70 of the Presidential Election Act, any advertisement regarding the Election by telecom service bureaus is legal,” Zahir Tayyeb told Iran’s mobile news agency (Mobna).
He said such bureaus were non-governmental and as such, like other unions, could take part in promotional activities regarding Presidential Election.
He emphasized, however, that removal of a candidate’s election poster without his permission was illegal.
