Kuwait’s Zain, Omantel, or?

Meanwhile, Omantel consortium has shown willingness to take part in the project by implicitly accepting all its terms and conditions, but so far no news of Kuwait’s Zain replacing Etisalat or Omantel taking part in the tender has been announced by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology or Radio Communication and Regulations Organization.

However, it seems that the authorities at the ICT ministry, with their prolonged silence on the subject, have proved their apathy towards the whole issue; one that could enable a large section of the public to become familiar with mobile phone 3G technology, as well as make other operators to improve their services at lower costs.
