Software virus main cause of sim card deactivation

“Sim cards deactivated due to software virus, full storage or other technical problems are normally detected in the network and then replaced free of charge,” Davoud Zareian told Mobna news agency.
“TCI had no immediate plan to replace old sim cards,” he said
“Frequent use of Bluetooth and exposure to infrared light could result in sim card deactivation although some deactivations occur as a result of poor sim card quality,” he added.
Sudden deactivation of sim cards in recent days has led to widespread public complaints to the extent that a Parliamentary committee is investigating the matter and its findings are to be discussed in its open session.
