MPs request urgent review of Government Outdoor Bureaus bill
“With the MPs’ request, the urgency of the review has to be decided by all MPs at its general session, which is most probably tomorrow,” Ali-Asghar Yousef-Nejad told Mobna news agency.
The bill consists of one article and two items prepared by Parliament telecommunication committee, according to which Government agencies are required to delegate their services to the private sector and Government outdoor bureaus.
Article one of the bill states that: “All Government agencies, including Islamic Revolution organizations, and non-governmental public sector organizations are required to delegate their outdoor services to Government Outdoor service bureaus which are managed by the non-governmental sector.”
“Creation of new such bureaus is not allowed and existing bureaus must change to Government outdoor bureaus,” item 1 of the proposed bill states.
Item 2 states that the Act, on recommendation by the Interior Ministry and Government ratification, must be implemented within two months.
