Landline phone sms launched in Shiraz Province

“The service is now available to 500,000 subscribers and will be extended to another 500,000 in province’s other cities in near future,” Chngiz Amiri told Mobna new agency.
“A pilot test of the service has been conducted by Peik Rasa Company which has used domestic-produced equipment and software,” he added.
“Since the service is new there have been only limited applications but as it spreads countrywide we expect it to become popular,” he said.
The service tariff has been set at 2 landline phone pulses (89.4 rials) at the 39th session of the Radio Communication and Regulations Organization.
