500 IT products awaiting IISIR approval: ICT ministry official

“So far 25 such products have gained approval,” Ali Ansari told Mobna news agency.
“IISIR identifies which commodities need its approval but the ICT ministry announces its needs and priorities in this field,” Ansari said.
He had said earlier that standardization of a product by IISIR was a long process and because quick changes took place in information technology they could not be implemented.
