Motorola mobile authorized import stopped
“High import tariff on mobile sets and shortage in demand for Motorola mobiles are among main reasons in stopping its import,” Hosein Payandeh told Mobna news agency.
“The limited range of Motorola mobiles has led to low demand for the set and so its importers have cut its import,” he said.
“Despite mobile market recession, illegal activists offer smuggled sets on the market at cheaper price and that attracts buyers’ attention,” he added.
“Low activity by authorized importers and lukewarm crackdown on smugglers has resulted in authorized importers’ going bankrupt,” Pars Comtel managing director said.
Meanwhile, Fitco, another Motorola authorized agent in Iran, has announced it has not been able to have a substantial import of late.
