Parliament has the right to monitor mobile import tariff
“Among the duties of the parliament is to monitor government functions, and on that basis it can check on changes made to the mobile import tariff,” Ali Motahhari told Irans mobile news agency (Mobna).
“The tariff should be such that it doesn’t deter the consumer, but at the same time keeps the smugglers and middlemen at bay,” he added.
He warned if the authorities fail to resolve the mobile import tariff issue, then the parliament will have to intervene to uphold the right of consumers.
