MCI`s GPRS is available from 23:00 to 08:00

GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) the first high-speed digital data service provided by cellular carriers that used the GSM technology.
Mobile Company of Iran subscribers who use GPRS service can have e-mail and internet access and receive files on their mobile phones, other services such as mms (multi media messaging service) will be offered in near future. 
Internet speed offered via GPRS service is limited, but in future with the network enhancement and change to next generation data service “EDGE” which has higher internet speed. 
In next phase the service will be available in 24 hours in Tehran and in future in all provinces.
Those who want to use GPRS service should refer to www.mci.ir website to register and activate the service.
MCIs GPRS service now has capacity for two million subscribers, but the capacity can increase when applicants increase.
By using this service 900,000 users can access internet simultaneously and 450,000 users can download at the same time.
Mobile phone users by using GPRS service can transmit data with higher speed that is 32 to 48 kilobyte per second.
