Mobile set smuggling continues with current 25 percent tariff: an expert

 “Until police force starts confronting smuggling with firmness, smugglers will continue their activities,” Payam Danesh told Mobna news agency.
“High mobile set import tariff and lack of constant inspection from relevant organizations to prevent smuggling have lead more than 80 percent of market shares being for smuggled sets,” he said.
“If government start a serious battle with illegal importers, then authorized companies can boost their activities,” Danesh added.
“Consumer protection organization does not cover mobile phone users. Mobile phone market activists are increasing day by day, so we need an independent union to control mobile phone market,” he said.
