Iran`s main telecom research center to support for Next Generation Network

“Iran Telecommunication Research Center is the country’s main research center for telecommunication and information technology and since the topic of ‘Next generation network’ is so important then the center will support any doctoral and postgraduate dissertation on the subject,” Abbas Zarifkar told Mobna news agency.
The third information technology and telecommunication forum with the title: “Next Generation Network” will be held on Dec 3, 2008 at Tehran’s Olympia Hotel.
Next Generation Network (NGN) is a network that incorporates mobile phone, data and landline phone networks into one network, and is currently under test in Tehran, Ghazvin and Zanjan cities.
