Mobile set smuggling a disaster to Iranian economy: economist
“What we are witnessing today is that the figures quoted of the volume of mobile sets brought into the country are significantly different from those quoted by international agencies and even neighboring countries.” Manouchehr Bidabadi told Mobna news agency.
“What the Ministry of Commerce should consider is a move towards transparency with regard to regulations and bylaws and trade facilities and to revise the current mobile phone tariff,” he added.
“To uproot mobile phone smuggling requires national determination, considered and active planning and close cooperation among countrys economic, political, security and military sectors.” he concluded.
