Mobile set smuggling created odd jobs in Iran: economic expert

“Because of high unemployed rate in border cities, they smuggle commodities like mobile phones to make ends meet,” Sirus Mohammadinejad told Mobna news agency.
“The price difference of mobile sets in and out of Iran is high, causing the smuggling of this highly sought after commodity,” he added.
“Commodities are smuggled into countries which face hefty,” Mohammadinejad said.
“Mobile sets tariff should be reduced to four percent, the current 24 percent tariff just help smuggling,” he added.
