Mobile phone market lacks watchdog bodies: a market insider

“Mobile phone users rights organization does not protect consumers. Mobile sets and accessories stores have increases on daily basis but no independent organization yet to control the market,” a market insider Shahram Moradbeigi told Mobna news agency.
“The 25 percent import tariffs on mobile phone not only decreased dramatically the authorized importers activities, but also has caused 90 percent of mobile sets to be smuggled,” he said.
He hoped that by reducing mobile sets import tariff and launching supervisory bodies the unleashed smuggling be omitted from mobile phone market.
