State owned Telecommunication Company has 85 percent market share: stock expert

“Second local operator Irancell has 13.06 percent of Iran mobile phone market share and another local mobile phone operator Taliya owns 1.95 percent,” stock broker company Razavi researcher only identified by his first name Joula said.       
Telecommunication Company of Iran will be sold off in Tehran stock exchange company by 5 August and it is expected that per share price to be traded between 2,000 – 3,000 rials (20 – 30 cent).
 He said that Telecommunication Company of Irans capital is 37 trillion rials (3.9 billion dollars).
“According to data telecommunication per share gain is 191 rials (2 cent) and per share price has been priced 3,480 rials (37 cent),” he said.
“Currently telecommunication industry ranks second after oil industry in regards to the profitability,” Joula added.
Telecommunication Company of Iran was quoted on the main board of the Tehran Stock Exchange as its 447th company on July 19, 2008.
