Driving while talking on mobile reduces alertness
“Scientific research shows that talking on mobile while driving increases the chances of accident four times,” a member of Tehran medicine university scientific board, Bahman Niknejad told Mobna news agency.
“Using mobile phone accessories like hands free is dangerous too and can cause accidents,” he added.
“Listening and seeing simultaneously is difficult for drivers and increases the chances of accident dramatically,” Niknejad said.
“Either talking on mobile phone or just listening to it endangers the driver since he can not adjust his distance with the car in front and maintain driving course.”
