Telecom to enter TSE next week – Privatization Org chief

Exchange next week.
Gholam-Reza Heydari Kord-e Zangeneh, in conversation with MOBNA, said there is no especial problem preventing Telecom shares being offered on the TSE, and that will occur next week.
In answer to the question: Why TSE resists Telecom entry? he said there was no particular problem except that the TSE needs more information.
Deputy-minister of Economic Affairs and Finance said the information in question consisted of the Cabinet’s letter of approval, which they have since received, and few queries.
Telecom chief had earlier indicated that the real reason behind resistance to Telecom shares being offered on TSE has been its dispute with the Privatization Organization.
The TSE insists on more transparency from Telecom.
There was an introductory meeting between Telecom directors and TSE stockbrokers midweek last week; also the Economic Council, on behalf of the government, endorsed the sale of Telecom shares on TSE.
It was intended that Telecom shares would be offered on TSE on June 11, but due to queries made by TSE that has not yet happened.
