8th Parliament to review GCs dossier
announced if Mobile Telecommunications Co fails to reach an agreement with its general contractors then the matter will be passed on to the 8th Parliament.
Ramadanali Sadegh Zadeh, in conversation with MOBNA, said the Article-90 Commission intends to review the case with representatives from the Audits General, Industries & Mines Commission, General Inspectorate, MTC and GCs but hoped the matter will be settled beforehand so that the session is not held.
It is nearly 3 years since GCs started their assignments but there is no news about their completion of their tasks.
The 3rd phase of the Mobile Telecommunications Network Expansion project which was to launch 4,700 BTS sites was delegated in March 2005 to 3 GCs namely Behin Ertebaat-e Mehr, Eriksson services and Pars Iratel who were to deliver their output to the commissioner (1st Operator) by April 2006, but nothing has been forthcoming.
