Optical fiber network disconnections risen by 1.5-fold: technical expert

“Optical fiber network disconnections in the first five months of this year, as compared to the same period last year, have not decreased and the network has not been improved to reduce such occurrences,” he told Mobna news agency.
“Authorities are expected to report such incidents. Last year the network was disconnected about 80 times and that has increased by 1.5-fold this year,” he added.
However, Telecommunication Infrastructure managing director has claimed that so far this year disconnection occurrences has in fact decreased compared to the same period last year.
