Cut in optical fiber network disconnections in first five months
“Disconnection time has decreased while optical fiber network development has continued,” Mohammad-Bagher Zohourifar told Mobna news agency.
“More than 60 percent of optical fiber primary locations have now two or three paths and the remaining locations will have three paths by the end of March 2010,” he said.
“42,000 mega bytes of capacity have so far been made available which will increase to 45,000 mega bytes by year’s end,” he added.
“In the past, the only connection path with abroad was Jask-Fujaireh, but in recent years more paths, including Gonaveh, Bandar Abbas, Bazargan abd Astara, have been established,” he continued.
